The first step of transformation involves practices in making the Sthula deha or physical body to Yoga deha or Yogic body. The focus here is on practices involving asanas, bandhas, mudras, pranayama, dhyana and Dharana, that cleanse the energy currents in body, bring stability in posture, improve concentration, align breath and brings discipline of a Yogi or Yogini.
Next step is to transform Yoga deha or Yogic body to Siddha Deha or Skilled accomplished body. This transformation is achieved by doing practices involving Nadi, Chakra, Kundalini and Adharas, for awakening Kundalini energy within the practitioner and making it traverse upward. Energy that was downward oriented is now directed upwards which brings maturity in thought and gives skills or siddhis to practitioners.
Next stage of transformation is changing Siddha Deha to Mantra Deha with Sadhana practices. The focus shifts from skills or siddhis, to leveraging and focussing in inner journey of specializing in developing a specific aura. Several practices centred around mantra sadhana are used to help the practitioner at this stage to unlock the true potential of the body with focus in directing the energy to specific points within the body to accomplish various tasks.
The final stage is transforming Mantra deha to Divya deha with focus on inner Self. Techniques centred on various depths of samadhi are practiced to realize true knowledge of Self as Pure Consciousness. This knowledge of Pure awareness makes the practitioner divine and leads to the final goal of Divya Deha.
